About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our expanding team in Edinburgh. As a Family Law Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters, including separation agreements, divorce actions, residency and contact disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify relevant laws and regulations
  • Prepare and present court documents and arguments
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in family law and related legislation

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years' pqe in family law
  • Experience in financial provision on divorce and child law
  • Court of Session experience is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
