About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs and behavioural needs in our schools in South West London. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SEN Co-ordinator to provide individualized support to pupils, helping them to focus in lessons, complete tasks, and manage their emotions and behaviour.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with special educational needs and behavioural needs
  • Work closely with teachers and the SEN Co-ordinator to develop and implement support plans
  • Assist pupils with completing tasks and managing their emotions and behaviour
  • Support pupils in lessons and during activities
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent support for pupils

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils with special educational needs and behavioural needs
  • Proactive, committed, and professional approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
