About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Poole. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, enabling them to live independently and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, while respecting their personal preferences and maintaining their dignity.
  • Offer companionship and create a warm relationship with clients, engaging in friendly conversations and shared activities.
  • Assist with light household duties, such as cleaning and laundry, to create a tidy and pleasant environment for clients.
  • Prepare nutritious meals, taking into account individual preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical exercises, promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging physical well-being.
  • Manage medication regimes, handling prescriptions responsibly and ensuring clients' health is monitored.
  • Document daily care activities and communicate effectively with the team to ensure the best possible care.
Requirements
  • A genuine desire to help others and embody Home Instead's values in every interaction.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work harmoniously both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.
