Job Title: Part-time Community Care Assistant in Poole

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-time Community Care Assistant to join our team in Poole. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, enabling them to live independently and with dignity in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining their dignity and personal preferences.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging in activities that bring joy and stimulation to our clients' lives.
  • Assist with light household duties, including cleaning and laundry, to create a comfortable and safe environment for our clients.
  • Prepare nutritious meals, taking into account individual dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical exercises, promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging physical well-being.
  • Manage medication regimes, ensuring clients adhere to their prescribed medication and monitoring their health.
  • Document daily care activities, reporting any changes in clients' conditions and communicating effectively with the care team.
Requirements:
  • A genuine desire to help others, embodying Home Instead's values in every interaction.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work harmoniously both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.
