We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our care team as a Night Care Assistant at Dorset House, our residential care home. As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify the needs and abilities of our residents and deliver person-centered care.
  • Support and encourage residents to remain independent, promoting their autonomy and dignity.
  • Conduct regular checks on residents, providing assistance with mobility and positioning as needed.
  • Provide elements of personal care, including washing and undressing, with compassion and respect.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents, providing companionship and understanding.
  • Collaborate with the care team to create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
  • Natural compassion and understanding of others.
  • Previous care experience is not essential, but a willingness to learn and develop skills is essential.
  • A full induction and training program will be provided to support your growth and development.
