Job Title: Business Development Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Business Development Officer to join our team at LT Selection. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in promoting learning and development opportunities to employers, including apprenticeships and adult skills training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Development Manager in identifying and engaging employers with apprenticeship and adult skills training opportunities.
  • Assist in cross-selling apprenticeships and adult skills courses to employers.
  • Conduct research and analysis on potential client accounts and industry trends to help the team develop effective strategies.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring effective communication and responding to enquiries.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the CRM system, tracking client interactions, contract success, and learner engagement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to support client meetings and internal reviews.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing activities to promote our company's services.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of training services to clients.
  • Support administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing communications, and coordinating project activities.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safeguarding protocols, and equal opportunities standards.
  • Assist in achieving business targets by supporting day-to-day business development functions.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in business support or a similar administrative role (desirable).
  • Basic knowledge of apprenticeships, adult skills funding, and training services (desirable).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively (essential).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams (essential).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (essential).
  • Ability to support relationship management with senior stakeholders (desirable).

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the role, including occasional travel and working outside regular hours.

Education:

Assessor or PGCE or PGCEs or DTLLS or CTLLS or PTLLS or Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector or L3 Certificate in Education or L4 Certificate in Education or L4 CertEd or L3 CertEd or L3 Cert Education or Cert Education or PGCE or PGCEs or QTS or Qualified Teacher Status or CAVA or Lecturer or Cert Ed or PETALS or A1 or D32/D33 or TQUK Level 3 Award
