About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Analytics Specialist to join our team at RocketMill. As a key member of our Data & Insight team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve exceptional results through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize marketing performance with data
  • Apply critical thinking, creativity, and technical ability to solve unique challenges and achieve exceptional results for our clients
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' business needs and goals
  • Design and implement customized marketing analytics measurement solutions using Google Tag Manager
  • Build and maintain KPI performance dashboards that visualize multiple data sources in a clear and coherent way
  • Assist the Marketing Analyst and Marketing Analytics Lead in delivering an exceptional service for a portfolio of clients
Other Responsibilities
  • Manage a small portfolio of clients on a day-to-day basis, under supervision and guidance of the Marketing Analyst
  • Identify digital KPIs for our clients and recommend how they are measured
  • Conduct measurement audits to ensure relevancy and integrity of data collected
  • Implement customised measurement solutions aligning to digital KPIs
  • Create bespoke dashboards that clearly articulate our clients' digital KPIs
  • Conduct data analysis to identify areas to improve digital KPI performance
  • Participate in weekly client status calls and prepare and present to clients in quarterly planning meetings
Training and Development
  • Training within Google Data Studio and Microsoft Power BI dashboarding platforms
  • Using dashboarding platforms to integrate data from multiple sources
  • Advanced data analysis, manipulation and visualisation using the R programming language
  • Using SQL to interrogate datasets held in platforms such as Google BigQuery

  • Passion & enthusiasm to work in a fast-growing marketing discipline
Desirable Skills

The skills below are advantageous, but full training will be provided as part of the role:

  • Can articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Comfortable presenting findings to a small audience
  • Previous use of MS excel for data analysis and manipulation
  • Previous use of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Google Data Studio
