Quality Control Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Team Leader to join our client based in Cannock. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control, with proven leadership experience in maintaining high product standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the daily operations of the quality control team, ensuring all products meet required quality standards before shipment.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement control procedures.
  3. Mentor and train quality control team members, conduct performance evaluations, and maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  4. Prepare and present quality reports to management, develop corrective and preventive actions for quality issues, and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  5. Manage and maintain quality control documentation and records, and support new product development with quality control insights.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in quality control or assurance, with strong knowledge of quality standards, including ISO certifications.
  2. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software, with experience in internal audits and customer complaint resolution.
  4. Strong organisational and communication skills, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to continuous improvement and quality excellence.
