Senior Information Security Cloud Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Cloud Specialist to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for helping to manage our cloud estate and ensuring the security, resilience, and redundancy of our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cloud Security and Compliance: Ensure that our cloud environments are secure, compliant, and meet the required standards.
  2. Cloud Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage strategic, operational, and emerging risks affecting our cloud and articulate, quantify, and monitor risks according to risk appetite.
  3. Cloud Security Architecture: Design and implement secure cloud architecture and recommend secure design patterns.
  4. Cloud Security Testing: Liaise with the Security Testing Team to ensure that Ethical Hacking, Code Reviews, Application Scanning, and Infrastructure Scanning is conducted.
  5. Cloud Security Governance: Provide Subject Matter Expertise to colleagues and management and help build and maintain strong senior stakeholder relationships within technology and the business.
Requirements
  1. Cloud Security Expertise: Strong technical understanding of security to ensure systems are designed and built securely and to help continually improve our security posture.
  2. Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud security architecture, cloud security testing, and cloud risk management.
  3. Cloud Certifications: Familiarity with cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security or Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
  4. Cloud Skills: Strong analytical and report writing skills, ability to verify solutions and gain assurance that they are fit for purpose through demonstrable evidence of controls and testing.
Desirable Qualifications

You will have two (or more) of the following (including Cloud):

  1. CompTIA CASP+, Cloud+, Security+, Network+, Linux+
  2. CSA CCSK / CCAK
  3. AWS Certified Security or Certified Solutions Architect
  4. Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  5. Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert
  6. GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer
  7. GIAC Cloud Security Automation
  8. (ISC)2 CISSP / CCSP / SSCP
  9. ISACA CISA / CISM / CRISC / CGEIT
  10. MSc. Information/Cyber Security
