Deputy Director for Quality Management

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic nurse to join our leadership team in the Surgery, Transplant, and Anaesthetic division. This is an exciting role in delivering exceptional patient care, enhancing clinical governance, and supporting continued professional development for our staff.
Main Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the Head of Nursing to ensure effective management of nursing services and alignment with the organisation's vision and values.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance patient care and safety.
- Contribute to the efficient financial management of the nursing service by supporting budget planning and allocation.
- Support the education and professional development of nursing staff by leading initiatives to foster continuous professional development.

Person Specification- Registered Nurse (NMC)
- Post-registration Masters degree in nursing or related field or working towards
- Substantial leadership experience across clinical areas
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development, including in the area of EDI.
- Desirable: Post-graduate qualification in teaching within health care.
- Emergency planning / critical incident management course (this could be HMIMMs / ALS)
