Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Payroll and Pensions teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
- Service Improvement: Work closely with the Group Payroll and Pensions Manager to continually improve the service provided to our customers.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve and evolve the work flows and activities within the service team to ensure efficient and innovative ways of working.
- Team Development: Develop and manage the Payroll and Pensions team's continuous professional development plan, incorporating changing legislation, technology, and customer needs.
- Process Embedment: Embed process changes across the team to ensure sustainability as we continue to grow and take on more clients outside our sector.
- Issue Resolution: Manage escalations of service issues effectively, supporting colleagues and customers through our continuous improvement processes.
- Accountability: Be accountable for team deadlines for client payrolls and statutory reporting.
- Client Onboarding: Manage the onboarding and offboarding of client payrolls, which may involve TUPE legislation and time frames, as well as understanding differing employment terms and conditions.
