Novoexec is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing all payroll activities within the organization.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of tax and payroll legislation, as well as experience in implementing new payroll systems. You will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 300 employees, across 4 companies, and ensuring that all payrolls are processed in a timely manner for auditing purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all payroll activities, including processing payroll, maintaining accurate employee records, and resolving queries.
  2. Implement and maintain payroll systems, ensuring compliance with tax and payroll legislation.
  3. Process and report PAYE related instructions to and from HMRC.
  4. Compile payroll data, prepare nominal journals, and reconcile net pay, PAYE, and NIC.
  5. Assist in collecting data for annual pay reviews, benefit renewals, and Gender Pay Gap reporting.
  6. Calculate commission and bonus payments, and prepare monthly finance journals and movement reports.
Requirements:
  1. At least 3 years end-to-end payroll experience.
  2. Comprehensive understanding of tax and payroll legislation.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and systems skills.
  4. Computer literacy in using Microsoft Office suite and payroll software.
  5. Level 3 CIPP (desirable).
  6. Accounting experience (desirable).
