We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our 40-bedded Critical Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based individual patient care to critically ill patients
- Deliver high standards of care, adhering to clinical guidelines and protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- First Degree in nursing or an equivalent portfolio of evidence
- NMC Registration
- Post Registration Qualification in Critical Care
- Extensive experience at Band 5/6
- Evidence of clinical expertise and knowledge acquired through CPD and experience
- Evidence of involvement and leadership in teaching and mentoring learners
- Evidence of involvement in the development of protocols, clinical audit and quality improvement
