Key ResponsibilitiesProvide professional, efficient, and effective administrative support to the booking service, inpatient ward, and day unit for various outpatient clinics, day unit admissions, and inpatient care.
Use initiative in complex situations to ensure patient administration is maintained in line with local and national Cancer policies.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting other team members to deliver patient-focused services, providing administrative support to the outpatients department booking centre, in-patient ward, and day unit during periods of absence.
The role requires individuals to have an understanding of the roles of a booking and ward clerk to provide cover when required.
Main DutiesAn opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Oncology and Clinical Haematology Team as an Administrative Support Specialist.
The successful applicant will be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment, undertaking a range of administrative processes with confidence and efficiency, including filing, collection of patient case notes for clinics, and providing cover to wards, reception, and outpatient areas.
Applications are invited from those interested in part-time working.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
