Location: East London
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Approximately £70,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Registered Manager dedicated to enhancing the lives of children? Leader Recruitment Group is seeking a committed and passionate individual to assume the crucial role of Registered Manager for our Residential Children's Services.

Role Overview

As a Registered Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting High-Quality Care: Spearhead the delivery of superior care and achieve exceptional outcomes for the children and young people in your charge.
  • Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Successfully navigate the registration process and uphold strict adherence to industry regulations and organizational policies.
  • Leading Safeguarding Initiatives: Take the lead in safeguarding and child protection efforts, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for all.
  • Inspiring Team Leadership: Provide visionary leadership that fosters a culture of engagement, professional development, and excellence.
  • Resource Management: Effectively manage resources to uphold the highest standards of care and service delivery.
  • Effective Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear and consistent communication.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage financial operations, ensuring the service meets and surpasses financial objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives focused on ongoing service enhancement and the implementation of best practices.
  • Innovation and Adaptability: Introduce innovative strategies to bolster service resilience and sustainability.
  • Celebrating Success: Acknowledge and celebrate team achievements, cultivating a positive and motivated workplace.

Key Requirements

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrated Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Children's Homes within the last 5 years, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Ofsted Registration: Current or prior registration with Ofsted as a Registered Manager is highly advantageous.
  • Leadership Skills: Outstanding leadership and management abilities, with a talent for inspiring and guiding teams.
  • Professional Qualifications: A Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care or Leadership and Management is preferred.
