About the Role

We are seeking a talented Footwear Designer to join our team at Kurt Geiger. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in creating our design-led, fashion-relevant collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of customer and market-focused product collections each season, aligning with the company strategy for the brand.
  • Provide technical drawings for suppliers and finalize approved designs for production.
  • Work closely with the buying team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand requirements.
  • Produce high-quality work (Cads and Specs) quickly and efficiently.
  • Engage with the fashion industry, staying up-to-date on luxury and high street trends, and contribute to our brand's aesthetic.
  • Develop original, creative, and brand-appropriate ideas based on upcoming trends.
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Take ownership of your design work, following samples through to delivery, and maintain a proactive approach to sample management.
Requirements
  • Experience in designing men's footwear for a high fashion retailer.
  • Excellent drawing skills and practical knowledge of shoe design.
  • Strong understanding of and passion for the Kurt Geiger brand, customer, and collections.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while being part of a team.
