Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research and Development Co-ordinator to join our team at Coastal Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development of new products and improving existing ones, ensuring that our products remain competitive in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage the development of new products and ensure successful launches.
- Manage the improvement of existing products.
- Coordinate and complete product quality complaints.
- Take QC reports produced and collaborate with suppliers to ensure change requests have been implemented.
- Project manage New Product Development and Improvement of existing products.
- Create and submit R&D claims annually.
- Liaise with Marketing, Business Development, and Engineering departments regarding New Product Development and New Product Requests.
- Keep product information in NetSuite up to date.
- Stay up to date with relevant British Standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in engineering within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of innovation and analytical mindset.
- Project management skills (project management qualification an advantage).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Programming skills such as CAD.
- Eye for detail.
- High level of self-motivation.
