Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly ambitious and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Rethink Events team. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibition space across a portfolio of high growth B2B conferences in the agri-tech, food-tech and sustainability sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Selling across the entire portfolio of summits and supporting existing projects.
- Attending key Rethink Events and organising business development trips to meet clients.
- Generating new business, closing sales, and hitting targets.
- Excellent communication skills, including telephone communication.
- Hands on experience in sales selling B2B to senior level business executives.
- Experience using sales software such as Salesforce, Goldmine, ZoHo or similar software.
- To be willing to travel internationally.
- Having a solid understanding and experience of the B2B conference model would be desirable but not essential.
- Having an understanding of Digital advertising space is a plus but not essential.
- Fluency in additional languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic or French is advantageous but not essential.
- 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays- increasing by one additional day after 6 years, up to a maximum of 30 days.
- An additional day of leave "MeDay" for you to take on a cultural celebration day or on your birthday if you like.
