Job Title: Data Product Owner, Trustee

At BNY, we're seeking a talented Data Product Owner to join our Trustee & Depositary team in London-HYBRID. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in defining and executing our data strategy, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver data solutions, and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the product manager in defining the overall vision, execution, measurement, and business outcomes for our data strategy.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and data engineers to understand data requirements, data strategy, and deliver data solutions.
  • Use data to inform investment decisions and measure business outcomes.
  • Own client and business outcomes, with clear articulation and quantification of business value.
  • Bring enthusiasm, drive, and energy to the product development process.
Requirements:
  • Experience in delivering data products.
  • Experience in product-based roles in complex, enterprise, security services, custody, or trustee and depositary environments.
  • Strong analytical and management skills, familiar with Agile methodology, and experience with scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and execution.
  • Ability to apply backlog prioritization to define sprint goals and enable iterative deliveries.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong governance regimes ensuring books of work are accounted for and appropriate controls and oversight are in place.
