Position Overview

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer for a rapidly expanding fintech organization specializing in wealth management solutions. This company has successfully partnered with a significant number of asset managers in the UK and is now poised to enter the US market, aiming to enhance collaboration with investors and managers globally.

This is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring Engineering Managers to transition into a CTO role. For seasoned CTOs, this position offers a unique chance to elevate the organization, penetrate the US market, and leave a lasting impact.

The engineering team consists of 15 professionals, including Java Back End developers, QA specialists, DevOps engineers, a Product Owner, and Data Engineers. We are in search of a leader who can actively engage with the team, provide guidance, and further develop the engineering capabilities.

This pivotal role will report directly to the CEO. We are looking for candidates who possess strong technical acumen, along with charisma and enthusiasm, to serve as a technology advocate with clients.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in people management and project oversight.
  • Strategic mindset with a track record of success in managerial roles.
  • Familiarity with AWS, APIs, Microservices, and Java is essential; this is not a hands-on coding position.
  • Experience or interest in AI and ChatGPT technologies is highly desirable.
  • Background in conducting security audits.
