Job Title: Chief Technology Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Technology Officer to lead our Technology function at Higher Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our Technology division and ensuring it aligns with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Technology strategy that supports business growth and expansion.
  • Lead a team of 6 Technology professionals, focusing on business strategy, revenue generation, and growth.
  • Identify and design the Technology function to drive high-value markets and substantial expansion.
  • Drive revenue generation through the development of new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Build a strong and effective Technology infrastructure to support business growth.
  • Develop and implement a growth strategy to increase the Technology team to 20+ heads by the end of 2025.

  • Up to £120k base salary + multiple bonus pots (£200k+ OTE)
  • Share options - wealth creation play by '28
  • Reporting directly into Group MD
  • Scope to scale the team to 20+ heads by EOY '25
  • Unrestricted access to a huge database of candidates and clients for leverage
  • Ownership and autonomy of the entire Technology function - both UK and US remit

Requirements:

  • A hands-on leader with a strong track record of growing Technology teams (ideally UK focused)
  • Experience and complete understanding of both contract and perm recruitment
  • An individual with the knowledge and capabilities of assessing teams, performance, strategies, etc. and identifying improvement areas - MUST have experience of this
