If you have a passion for developing engaging narratives and connecting with varied audiences, the Marketing Communications Coordinator position at 8Bits is for you. You will assist in the formulation and execution of communication strategies, oversee social media platforms, and contribute to content development. Your contributions will be essential in bolstering our brand visibility and ensuring effective communication both within the organization and with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and execution of communication strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread content for multiple channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Oversee and refresh social media platforms, engaging with followers and tracking performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive and aligned messaging.
  • Assist in organizing and executing events, including promotional initiatives and media outreach.
  • Track media coverage and provide analysis and reports on communication activities.
  • Help maintain the company's digital presence, including website updates and search engine optimization.
  • Manage internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, and updates.
  • Address inquiries from the media and the public, ensuring a positive representation of the company.
  • Provide administrative support to the communications team, including scheduling meetings and managing communications.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with a strong attention to detail.

  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing concepts is a plus.
