Electrical Technical Director Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Director to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of renewable electrical installations, ensuring systems are designed, installed, and certified to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project managers and qualified supervisors to deliver electrical installations
  • Manage submissions to the Distribution Network Operator (DNO)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement electrical installation standards and procedures

Requirements:

  • Time-served electrician with experience in managing electrical installations
  • Ability to travel to sites from time to time, with the option to operate remotely
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
