Job Summary

Ardonagh Advisory is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our team of Account Executives in Scotland. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for implementing regional sales and retention strategies, motivating and guiding a team of Account Executives to drive growth through improved retention, cross-sales, and new client sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong, effective leadership of the Account Executive team, providing direction and guidance to meet targets and support client issues as required.
  • Constantly review the market and relevant sectors to understand new opportunities, performance against competitors, and provide the team with clear advice and direction.
  • Lead and support the team to deliver the best customer outcomes, meeting all Consumer Duty requirements, while working collaboratively with the Branch Director to achieve financial targets.
  • Lead on all aspects of risk management, implementing plans to ensure every colleague meets risk and quality assurance requirements, highlighting trends to enable actions and mitigations.
  • Work in collaboration with the Branch Director to highlight potential barriers to retention or new sales and promote opportunities for business growth, sharing good practice and ideas.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing teams to deliver revenue targets within a regulatory framework.
  • Demonstrable experience in a management role within insurance and extensive knowledge of the insurance industry, specifically placement and insurer relationships.
  • Proven track record of delivering both top and bottom-line performance and growth, organically and inorganically.
  • Proven track record of improving business performance, income, and employee engagement within a regulated environment through effective sales planning.
  • Significant, proven experience of managing a P&L Budget.
  • Experience of managing client relationships.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with teams and stakeholders across the business at all levels.
  • People management skills, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and guiding others.
