Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our sales and business development efforts, you will play a critical role in evaluating the feasibility and financial potential of our compressed air energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough techno-economic analyses to assess project economics, financial models, ROI calculations, and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Investigate and analyze market trends, competitor strategies, regulatory frameworks, and industry benchmarks related to energy storage and CAES technologies.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers based on specific criteria, including budget allocation, energy consumption profiles, operational needs, and sustainability goals.
  • Assist in creating tailored proposals and presentations for potential customers, highlighting the technical and economic benefits of our CAES solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and customer expectations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing analysis findings, market insights, and business development opportunities.
  • Continuously refine and improve frameworks, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our commercial processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in conducting techno-economic analysis, financial modeling, or business analysis within the energy sector or related industries.
  • Knowledge of energy storage technologies and relevant markets is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools. Python or similar coding skills preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and present complex data clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
