About the Company

An excellent opportunity has opened up for a recent graduate or school leaver looking for their first role in accountancy and finance. A successful business in the aviation industry is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Assistant (zero experience required) to join their team. You will work in a supportive and friendly environment and have the opportunity to keep learning and developing.

Your new role

  • Process and manage supplier invoices
  • Review and code supplier invoices and send them on for approval
  • Post general ledger data and VAT information
  • Review and reconcile supplier statements
  • Set up new suppliers
  • Review and process employee expense submissions
  • Provide cover for the AP supervisor on leave dates

What you'll need to succeed

  • A recent graduate, or just finished your A-Levels, or a school leaver looking to study AAT and want a relevant full-time job
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Inquisitive and logical mindset
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent user of IT systems
