Job Description

Express Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established Education Provider to recruit an experienced Functional Skills Tutor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Level 1, L2, and L3 English, Maths, and IT training to students in schools across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver L1, 2, and 3 courses to students for Functional Skills Maths, English, and IT
  • Update training material for students, ensuring varied learning styles are considered
  • Previous experience teaching Maths and English at Functional Skills or GCSE level
  • Must hold relevant Teaching qualification
  • Enhanced DBS Check essential, or willingness to process prior to interview
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and data protection
