Job Title: English and Maths Functional Skills Tutor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced English and Maths Functional Skills Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel.

Job Summary:

This is a temporary, part-time position that involves delivering engaging and effective English and Maths functional skills outreach sessions to learners in the Greater London area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality English and Maths functional skills training to learners, creating tailored lesson plans and resources to meet their individual needs.
  • Assess and monitor learner progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to enhance the quality of educational provision.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of English and Maths functional skills curriculum.
  • Experience in delivering outreach education and working with diverse learner groups.
Working Conditions:

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, delivering outreach sessions in various locations within the Greater London area. The tutor may need to travel to different sites and adapt to different learning environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
