As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of customer accounts across the UK, meeting customers on a regular basis, and contributing to the overall success and development of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Manage existing clients to maximise sales, revisit lapsed clients, and nurture new and existing business.
- Business Development: Prepare and present business and account updates to the company's management and clients.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and develop your own pipeline of client accounts.
- Diary Management: Arrange appointments, keep the office up to date with diary/appointments, and maintain a strong product knowledge.
- Marketing Support: Work alongside the Marketing team to ensure all products are marketed correctly.
- Administrative Duties: Process orders, order amendments, send purchase orders, and email customers with updates.
- Experience: Experience in a similar role, Account Management, Field Sales, or transferable sales background.
- Skills: Energetic and passionate about delivering improvement and exceptional customer service, building relationships, and promoting company products.
- Time Management: Manage your time efficiently and motivate yourself.
- Driving License: Full UK Driving License required for visiting client sites across the UK.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft packages Word, Outlook, Excel, and in-house systems.
- Holidays: 21 days holidays (rising to 25 with service) plus bank holidays, extra day off for your birthday.
