About the Role

This position requires frequent travel to the USA and involves overseeing engineering, design, development, validation, timing, and production release of new Steering Systems. You'll drive quality improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement initiatives, as well as handle engineering, design, development, timing, and production release of Chassis components, specifically electric steering systems (EPS) and steering system components.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university (or ABET equivalent)
  • 2+ years of engineering development and production release in steering systems OR 3-5 years engineering development experience in suspension systems or overall Chassis (components or systems)
  • Demonstrated passion to work in the automotive industry
  • Experience with component and system design, development, and validation, including system level bench testing and vehicle level testing for steering systems
  • Validation skills and experience with setting up and testing of structural components
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
