About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Steering Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll oversee the development, validation, and production release of new Steering Systems. Your expertise will drive quality improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee engineering, design, development, validation, timing, and production release of new Steering Systems.
  • Drive quality improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement initiatives.
  • Handle engineering, design, development, timing, and production release of Chassis components, specifically electric steering systems (EPS) and steering system components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university (or ABET equivalent).
  • 2+ years of engineering development and production release in steering systems OR 3-5 years engineering development experience in suspension systems or overall Chassis (components or systems).
  • Demonstrated passion to work in the automotive industry.
  • Experience with component and system design, development, and validation, including system level bench testing and vehicle level testing for steering systems.
  • Validation skills and experience with setting up and testing of structural components.
