Academic HR Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join our newly created People and Culture team as an HR Advisor. This is a unique permanent opportunity to work in central government, supporting high profile staff and members on a wide range of HR duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic and day-to-day HR support to all staff and members across the organisation.
- Advising managers on complex HR issues, including employment law, disciplinary, grievance, performance, and attendance management procedures.
- Leading on employee relations casework through all stages.
- Working on special projects, including TUPE transfers, restructures, HR system management, and analysis.
Requirements:
- CIPD qualified HR professional with experience of building strong relationships and influencing others.
- Up-to-date employment law and legislation knowledge.
- Confidence in advising high profile people on complex HR issues.
