The Facilities and Grounds team is dedicated to upholding a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and maintenance across our premises, which includes building upkeep, cleaning services, communication systems, grounds care, health and safety protocols, and security operations.

We are looking for a Facilities and Grounds Coordinator to collaborate closely with the Estates Manager and the team, ensuring exceptional facilities for students, staff, and visitors within our vibrant educational setting.

The successful candidate will work alongside colleagues in the estates team, managing daily operations related to the maintenance of our facilities, while ensuring that shift coverage is maintained at all times.

This role requires daily engagement across both campuses, with the postholder expected to become well-acquainted with all facilities-related matters.

Under the guidance of the Grounds Maintenance Officer, the coordinator will assist in the upkeep and enhancement of our sports grounds and associated amenities.

In addition to general maintenance responsibilities, the successful candidate will conduct regular compliance checks as outlined in our policies and procedures, and assist in emergency preparedness and response initiatives.

This position may require shift work and occasional weekend duties, with the postholder being subject to on-call responsibilities.

This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 37 hours of work per week, with a competitive salary aligned with our pay structure.

The salary range for this position is between £22,312 and £23,162 per annum, with the starting salary set at £22,312, subject to negotiation based on relevant experience.
