Cash Applications Team Leader Job Description

The Cash Applications Team Leader will play a pivotal role in supporting the Cash Applications team and collaborating with the Cash Applications Manager to drive success across the EMEA region, covering both SAP and Oracle systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with our outsource partner to ensure seamless operations
  • Driving the team to meet targets, focusing on timely cash allocation and reducing unallocated cash
  • Assisting with month-end bank reconciliations and processing
  • Supporting team members in their professional and personal development
  • Driving continuous improvement in Cash Applications processes
  • Providing ad-hoc assistance to the Cash Applications Manager
  • Assisting with new staff onboarding and integrating new work into the team
Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

  • Senior or supervisory experience managing a small team
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge
  • Previous experience with SAP or Oracle ERPs, with basic accounting knowledge
  • High adaptability to change and strong communication skills
  • Ability to complete tasks to a high standard in a time-sensitive environment
  • Previous experience working with offshore teams and knowledge of banking platforms
  • Advantageous: knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable functions and willingness to travel when required
