Electronics Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. As a key member of our Electronics team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems for our race cars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic harnesses, enclosures, and installations for our race cars.
  • Produce technical and assembly drawings for mechanical, composite, and electronic components.
  • Ensure that all electronic systems meet the required specifications and regulations.
  • Liaise with other design groups to ensure effective integration of electrical installation requirements.
  • Support the manufacturing processes with the electronics workshop.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification with experience in electronics.
  • Experience designing wiring harnesses, electronic components, and installations preferably in motorsport.
  • Experience using industry standard CAD software packages, preferably CATIA 3DX.
  • Experience designing electronic components, PCBs, and sensors.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work to a demanding schedule.
