Charles Simon Associates Ltd is seeking an IT Infrastructure Lead to join our esteemed organization. This role offers the flexibility of remote work within the UK, complemented by convenient travel options.


Compensation:
Up to £60,000 annually, plus additional benefits

Essential Qualifications for the IT Infrastructure Lead:
- Proven experience in a comparable position
- Extensive background in collaborating with third-party vendors to facilitate project execution
- Strong technical acumen with a hands-on approach when necessary, although this role primarily focuses on oversight
- Significant experience in managing and executing projects in the fields of Telecommunications, Cloud Services, and Networking is crucial
- Capability to collaborate with a small team to develop and modify Windows Architecture as required
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies is highly advantageous

Responsibilities of the IT Infrastructure Lead:
- Oversee the tracking, reporting, and communication of major incidents
- Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective support and consultancy from third-party providers
- Conduct regular reviews of system permissions for both internal and external teams
- Own the definition of desktop and server builds, ensuring all systems comply with the organization's security protocols
- Serve as the escalation point for service-impacting issues within the organization
- Ensure the timely escalation of incidents, meeting operational level agreements (OLAs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Provide guidance and support to end users
- Document core processes for the infrastructure team
- Ensure that all network, server, or telephony-related issues are addressed by third-party suppliers promptly, in line with SLAs
- Develop project scopes for new infrastructure initiatives, considering resources, costs, and timelines
- Collaborate with users and vendors to ensure comprehensive testing, user training, and documentation adhere to business standards
