About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Modeller to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the success of our award-winning office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement complex hydraulic models using Flood Modeller Pro, Flood Modeller Pro - TUFLOW linked models, ESTRY-TUFLOW linked models, and HEC-RAS.
  • Utilize QGIS, ArcMap, and MapInfo to analyze and interpret results from hydraulic models.
  • Prepare technical reports and Flood Risk Assessments, and provide expert advice on water industry regulation.
  • Manage small to large projects, mentor graduates, and provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation and water industry regulation.
  • Experience using FME, Optimatics, and Python.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership for Senior or Principal grades.
  • Affiliation with a professional institution like IET, InstMC, or CIWEM.
  • Expertise using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
