Job Title: Business Services Category Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Services Category Manager to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority. As a key member of our procurement leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies to drive business outcomes and value for money.

About the Role

The Business Services Category Manager will be a key advisor to senior stakeholders, providing category subject matter expertise across Professional Services, Legal, Marketing, HR, and Facilities categories. You will lead the development of category management through analysis of business requirements and the gathering of intelligence, bringing together supplier and industry knowledge with those requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive business outcomes and value for money
  • Lead the development of category management through analysis of business requirements and the gathering of intelligence
  • Provide category subject matter expertise across Professional Services, Legal, Marketing, HR, and Facilities categories
  • Support the Procurement Leadership Team in raising awareness of how the function can raise its profile through internal procurement marketing and effective communications
