About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our sites in the XX postcode area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a variety of cleaning tasks, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, and dusting and sanitising surfaces.
  • Operate a range of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Naturally friendly and able to communicate effectively with customers and managers.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
