Job Summary:

N.E. Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Front Desk Associate to join our team at a hotel in the Ashford area of Kent. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective running of the hotel reception desk, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and guest requests.
  • Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the hotel team to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, preferably in a front desk or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in hotel management systems.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
