- Oversee the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, new installations, and compliance certifications.
- Plan and coordinate tasks for a small team of skilled professionals with the assistance of a scheduler.
- Conduct Risk Assessments for maintenance tasks and ensure their ongoing validity.
- Regularly review and update Environmental Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure all site activities comply with Environmental Health and Safety regulations.
- Adapt to working on various equipment across different facilities.
- Be flexible during maintenance shutdowns.
- Become familiar with Cleanroom protocols following training.
- Participate in audits of Mechanical and Electrical facilities and address any identified actions.
- Utilize maintenance performance data to drive local reviews and improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Optimize maintenance time through effective planning.
- Extensive Mechanical and Electrical expertise with a thorough understanding of relevant regulations.
- Completion of a recognized Electrical apprenticeship is essential.
- Certification in BS 2391 Inspection & Testing is required.
- 18th Edition qualification is mandatory.
- Proven supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with Pumps, HVAC Systems, Compressors, Boilers, and related equipment.
- Experience with Building Management Systems and Preventive Maintenance Systems.
- Proficiency in a computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system.
- Experience with a documented Permit to Work System.
- Ability to interpret P&ID and electrical schematics.
- Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Knowledge of Basic Instrumentation.
- A methodical and analytical approach to tasks.
- Successful candidates will undergo a thorough background check as per the requirements of the Disclosure and Barring Service.
