Global Sales Director

We are partnering with a well-established SME in Hertfordshire to find an experienced Commercial Director to lead the performance, sales, and product propositions of a successful global brand in the retail and wholesale sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a robust commercial strategy to drive sales and strategic growth in retail and wholesale businesses.
- Take full responsibility for sales operations globally, focusing on driving the UK business and expanding through retail, distributor, and licensee networks.
- Own the brand's P&L, ensuring financial performance and accountability for all product propositions.
- Create and launch a successful channel strategy that delivers to UK and global customers across direct-to-consumer (DTC), national accounts, and distributor networks.
- Open new distribution channels and develop new product categories, growing the brand's reach and revenue streams.
- Proven track record as a Commercial Director or senior leadership role working with a product within the sports, outdoor, or retail sectors.
- Experience in retail and wholesale environments, with a strong focus on sales, supply chain, and marketing.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing global commercial strategies, including channel and market expansion.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, with the ability to drive financial performance and accountability.
- Experience working with distributor/licensee networks and managing strategic national accounts.
