About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Data Analyst to join our Data Team within the established HR Services department at Next Head Office. As an HR Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and presenting key people data to support the HR team and help shape the people initiatives across the Company.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Strengthen the analysis and reporting of current people data to support decision making around people initiatives.
  2. Build real-time dashboards to report on Key Performance Indicators across HR.
  3. Develop and maintain current people data processes and presentation for the HR Teams, Store Management, and other business areas.
  4. Support annual and ad-hoc HR team project work that requires data analysis and presentation.
  5. Work with our HR People System provider Oracle to shape the required reporting output and people dashboards.

Requirements:

  • Previous data analysis experience with the ability to manipulate and interpret data.
  • Strong data visualisation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and present trends and key performance indicators for decision makers.
  • Knowledge of GDPR regulations, experience working with PII and other sensitive and confidential data.

Desirable:

  • Degree level or equivalent in an analytical or business-related field.
  • Previous experience working within an HR environment.
  • Good understanding of SQL.
  • Use of Business Intelligence packages and software.
