About the Role

The HR Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and presenting key people data to support the HR team and help to proactively shape the people initiatives across the Company.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Strengthening the analysis and reporting of current people data to support decision making around people initiatives.
  2. Building real-time dashboards to report on Key Performance Indicators across HR.
  3. Ongoing development and maintenance of current people data processes and presentation both for the HR Teams, Store Management and numerous other business areas around Next.
  4. Supporting annual and ad-hoc HR team project work that require data analysis and presentation e.g. Salary Review, Talent Snapshots, Recruitment Dashboards, Engagement Surveys.
  5. Working with our HR People System provider Oracle to shape the required reporting output and people dashboards. Whilst implementing interim solutions to analyze and present this data.
  6. Previous data analysis experience with the ability to manipulate and interpret data.
  7. Strong data visualization skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and present trends and key performance indicators for decision makers.
  8. Knowledge of GDPR regulations, experience working with PII and other sensitive and confidential data.

Desirable:

  1. Degree level or equivalent in an analytical or business-related field.
  2. Previous experience working within an HR environment.
  3. Good understanding of SQL.
  4. Use of Business Intelligence packages and software e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview.
