Chief of Staff to the Chief Product Officer

At SumUp, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Staff to support our Chief Product Officer (CPO) in driving the company's product strategy and operations. As a key member of our Product Management team, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our product ecosystem and helping us achieve our mission of leveling the playing field for small businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the CPO to develop and implement product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate product planning cycles across different tribes and functions to ensure cross-functional alignment and visibility.
  • Drive the planning and adoption of product chapter initiatives, including progression frameworks, PM Bootcamp, and Buddy schemes.
  • Collaborate with the Global Engineering Core, CTO Office, Design chapter, and Product Marketing chapter to improve collaboration and drive product development.
  • Plan, lead, and execute specific product development projects in key areas where additional PM leadership is required.
  • Assess M&A opportunities and coordinate due diligence from a product perspective with the CPO and Strategy and Corporate Development Office.
  • Develop and track product success metrics with the CPO and global Product community.
Requirements:
  • Excellent product sense and a solid track record in product planning and product development in software companies.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to drive cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong focus on written communication.
  • Experience working in FinTech or a similarly regulated industry, or experience navigating a global and scaled, highly dynamic and agile, multi-product Tech company.
  • Ability to create your own path, make an impact, and help shape the future of SumUp's product ecosystem.
