We are seeking a Financial Operations Partner with robust technical and analytical expertise who is eager to collaborate closely with the business.
The Financial Operations Partner will serve as a liaison between Finance and Operations, offering support by converting raw technical data into actionable financial insights and comprehensive reports for the Finance department and the broader organization. A passion for Excel is essential, along with the ability to create dashboards and analyze complex datasets.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Engaging in specific projects that are time-sensitive, requiring data manipulation and preparation of information for presentation to the Senior Management team
  • Utilizing advanced Excel functions daily and transferring data from various systems into Excel
  • Collaborating closely with the Head of Finance and Finance Director to develop spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Conducting business analytics, including performance and productivity baselining, demand analysis, activity-based costing, and benefits tracking
  • Partnering with Production and Procurement to establish standard costing and analyze purchase and material price variances
  • Working with the Operations Director to assess shop floor productivity and justify investments in machinery and facilities as necessary
  • Collaborating with the Production Manager to evaluate labor utilization and efficiency
  • Overseeing the financial management of company inventory, ensuring regular physical checks (cycle counting) and appropriate valuation, obsolescence reviews, and provisioning
  • Managing the financial integration mapping of all transactions within the ERP system
  • Assisting with lease/buy, make/buy, and utility contract decisions
  • Providing support during statutory financial audits
Required Skills:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • CIMA/ACCA Qualified
  • Experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of identifying issues and delivering solutions
  • Ability to transform data into actionable insights for management
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including the creation of dashboards
  • Experience in preparing and presenting BI data in Excel for senior management teams
