About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Estates and Facilities team, you will be responsible for delivering capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission, project manage, and deliver Trust capital projects
  • Develop feasibility studies and project briefs
  • Manage departmental project staff and external professional consultants
  • Liaise with statutory authorities on projects and property management
  • Communicate with and provide expert professional advice to key stakeholders
  • Support the delivery of an integrated Capital and Property management function for the Trust
  • Lead on the provision of a comprehensive property management service for the Trust

Person Specification

Essential

  • Masters Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in Building Surveying, Engineering, or construction-related discipline
  • Chartered Member of appropriate building/engineering-related Professional Institution
  • Postgraduate construction/property management knowledge gained through training and experience to Master's equivalent level
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and management/leadership development
