Job Summary

The Field Projects Engineer is responsible for the installation and maintenance of custom machines at our Preston workshop and customer sites. This role requires a strong focus on quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up machines at Preston for sign-off with customers
  • Organize delivery to end-users
  • Manage installations autonomously, including prevention plans and lifting means
  • Set up machines at customer sites
  • Refine settings
  • Diagnose and fix potential failures
Requirements
  • Qualification in mechanical or electro-technical engineering
  • Experience of 3 years in a similar position in an industrial environment
  • Good skills with hand tools, power tools, and good practices for mechanical, pneumatic, and electric assembly
  • SolidWorks CAD software skills for visualization
  • Forklift driving license, MEWP driving license, or Working at Height permit
