Job SummaryThe Field Projects Engineer is responsible for the installation and maintenance of custom machines at our Preston workshop and customer sites. This role requires a strong focus on quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Set up machines at Preston for sign-off with customers
- Organize delivery to end-users
- Manage installations autonomously, including prevention plans and lifting means
- Set up machines at customer sites
- Refine settings
- Diagnose and fix potential failures
- Qualification in mechanical or electro-technical engineering
- Experience of 3 years in a similar position in an industrial environment
- Good skills with hand tools, power tools, and good practices for mechanical, pneumatic, and electric assembly
- SolidWorks CAD software skills for visualization
- Forklift driving license, MEWP driving license, or Working at Height permit
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
