Job Title: Logistics Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at SF Recruitment (Birmingham). As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement of goods, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Operations: Manage the day-to-day logistics operations, including freight management, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stock levels, and implement just-in-time inventory management systems.
  • Freight Management: Negotiate with freight organizations to secure the best rates and services, and manage freight operations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve logistics-related issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
