Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Cell Leader to join our team at a world-class manufacturing company. As a Logistics Cell Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of logistics operators and ensuring the efficient operation of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of logistics operators to ensure daily targets are met.
- Ensure the logistics schedule is adhered to, in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and Health and Safety requirements.
- Drive improvement initiatives such as 5S and Theory of Constraints (TOC) to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity.
- Provide regular progress updates through work meetings.
- Conduct appraisals and establish training plans for team members.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations at all times.
- Review and implement improvements in manual handling and material flow procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong, proven experience leading a logistics or supply chain team within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing team performance and leading team meetings.
- Good knowledge of Risk Assessments and COSHH.
- Experience handling internal disciplinary matters.
- Logistics or supply chain qualification preferred but not essential.
